Yeah, I don't intend on trying to shock the plants too much. I just want to use everything I've got, before switching parts up. I'm definitely interested in a vertical grow, but that's gonna be at least a year before I wanna switch methods up. I want to get two 1ks by March, and another medical card in my home. The hardest part of my 30 day cycles is trying to have rooted clones atm. Blueberry is the only strain I have been able to get rooted again, recently. Querkle never gave me this much trouble the first time around. I followed the cloning guide on here, but after a week... not much is changing. I've got much to learn, and I apreciate the advice that is coming in! I knew starting out, that this would be a work in progress. Now, I can slowly harvest and build something better. I'm 15 days from pulling that kush, unless people think it should go longer. It's already been 10 weeks officially. The trichs just aint forming how I want em to. Outside light isn't a factor either. HPS has been used for 10 wks at 12/12. I was planning on replacing the bulb around 45 days from now. I'd do it around the same time of purchasing the other 1k.
For sure. I have no idea when that Kush needs to come down... I know you have a magnifying glass. What is the plant telling you? Are all of the glands formed up? Are any of them starting to turn? I'd guesstimate the plant needed a bit longer than 2 weeks but a magnifying glass will tell you for sure. As for cloning, read the bible's section on taking clones. Cloning takes something of a magic touch it seems like, but the most important things are temperature, humidity, and cloning technique. The hormone you use also seems to make a bit of difference. When I come back into town next I can try and show you if you still haven't gotten it down.
Starting week 4 of flower. The Blueberry x TW had to be transplanted today, because it was getting way too big for the veg area I currently have. Here it is after transplant: View attachment 17197 These are the ladies starting week 4: View attachment 17198 The Blueberry looks like it is going to be wonderful to grow! It's tough to tell what other discoloration there is under the straight HPS lighting. I'd guess it's salt buildup related but I don't know for sure. Do you have a copy of the bible? Your answer should be in there...
Yeah, buddy. I read the bible and a few other pages. Ran a few gallons of straight water through the pots on the left. I'm hoping I can resume nutes on Wed/Thur when the soil dries out a little. I knew it was way too early to be having those symptoms, though. It only seems to be that plant atm, too. I flushed em all to be sure... I'll also try to use my flouro, if I am gonna be taking pics from here on out. It should fuck with my camera and you guys less...

nute burn on both querkles. I've told you before you're using a high dose of nutes for that sized plant... By the way flushing is usually using I believe three times the container sizes' amount of water. There should be quite a bit of clear runoff. If I were you I'd water those two with plain water for a week, then start back up at like 1/2 or 2/3 the nutrient dose you were giving them before. just my 2 cents
That be the plan. We think about the same... Also, isn't this more of a salt issue? Seemed like the leaves were still soft, but were having the Nitrogen sucked out of them. When I had nute burn on the Querkle the first time, the leaves were rolling down and crispy. It's the only reason I ask. Either way, a flush is what they needed. Thanks for the advice!
naw thats not nitrogen deficiency. Nitrogen deficiency's yellowing starting on the oldest leaves, not burning on the tops. Nitrogen's also more even of a pattern than that. Salt buildup tends to cause deficiencies and therefore lockout. I couldn't tell under the hps if that was damage from lockout or from something else. It's not heat, it's not nute deficiency (from lockout or otherwise), it's burning from toxicity. Wind damage can look slightly similar but this isn't it.
Sirstink, explain more about wind damage ? I run my fans on my plants 24/7 it's not real hard but it's a BRISK breeze , I had a mold issue last round and this round am he'll bent on not seeing it this round . what are the signs of wind damage ? Thanks!
Thanks for the link. I've been using http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 It's still hard to gauge sometimes, because many issues look similar. This is why I am glad I came online. I get to learn from people who already have!
yeah i always used the bible's sections on pests and nutrient deficiencies. Excellent guides Having heavy winds focused constantly on a single part of the plant can cause bits of the leaves to burn. I had that problem once but it's rather uncommon - usually the higher the wind, the better. It increases stem strength and water flow. The wind just can't be constantly on one spot, and plants have to get acclimated to especially high winds.

Flowers be smellin fruity!I ended up flushing for the whole week, and resuming nutes today. They are at half strength currently. The Querkle and the BB x TW have been on 12/12 for about 30 days. They are beginning to smell amazing, and I am not worried about offending odors. I think this fruity smell will be nice for my place. Here are the weekly flowering pics!
