Well,i got to looking around a bit more and i found another plant that's showing its sex. this one the preflowers are more round but so tiny!with no hairs! and i have a feeling thaat there just gonna get bigger and still continue not to grow hairs,somthings telling me to just rip this plant up right now.lol

 

oooh, that gut feeling, not good!

Thinks,im really Excited that i managed to get atleast 1 female this time.if somthing happens and this is the only female i end up with.i can always clone..i will most likely do some cloning anyways seems like fun.


mabey ill find some clone gel at the local garden center.if not theres always online.

at most garden centers they sell clone powder. lots of people i know like it even better than gel. besides, it contains the same active ingredient anyways.

 

Yeah,i went over to lowes yesterday picked e up some perlite,i looked around for some cloning gel/powder couldnt find any,so i asked them.they dont carry any.


so went to my next stop over at walmart.and they told me the same thing that my local garden center said,that they wouldnt have any untile spring.

el camp uses a cheap version of those an gets great results. most of cloning success is technique anyways. i only use cloning products cause i dont have time to nurse my clones, an i think the products help me get better success.

Yeah cool, there using nylon string here.i have alot of that stuff here.i probley wouildnt even have to use the 2 liters if i didnt want to.

 

Probably not paper towels and I am not too sure on nylon string. When I made one of these, I used an old sock that I cut into strips. That worked perfectly. I think I got the idea from El C.


Edit: You posted while I was typing. LOL! Well, if they are using nylon string, then I guess it would work.


If you only have a couple of clones, then you can use a smaller bottle. I have even used a 12 oz. plastic bottle.

 

Old sock it is lol.im making this setup right now.i read even if u dont use cloning gels/powders.that this can still be done.i ordered some the other day,i most likely aint gonna see my cloning gel for another week.but i think ill get started anyways.

Yeah man,i think ill start out with about 2-3-4 clones .iv got 1 female atm,its sprouted a few good shoots.ill just cut a few lower ones. that will leave some shoots for the nice big colas i hope to produce:love4:

Here,i have 3 clones.i have them in a container with perlite plus,i added some fox farm all purpose 5-5-5 in the mix not alot just a little bit. I have drilled 4 holes in the bottem of this container for the wicks.under this is another container with water in it. also,i have a dome lid that,i take off a couple times during the day.to let some fresh air in,the perlite seems like its staying pretty damp. i have a few Cfls,a couple feet away from them.they have only been in this container for about 20hours or so now. they still love to go after the light. yall think they will root? my cloning gel probaly isnt gonna be here for a week or so. oh and the containers are 3inches deep,i went ahead and painted them black to.the humidity dome is more clear. oh and when i took the clones.i cut the stem right by the main stem and took a razor blade and gently scraped along the outer skin all the way around the stem of the clone.

AB - thanks for that post withthe thread. That is def. way easier than making a bubble cloner! With this cloning method and hempy buckets...simple simple. What a great way to grow.
