Server Prob.... so Can't Put Updates up as of yet!!!

Sorry, as the one i speak of , of being a tetraploid, is NOT, its a TRIPLIOD (Meaning 3 Coatelydoneson the first leaves of the sprout!!!)to be precise!!!

Sorry for the missinformation my fellow growers!!!

    Follow me.........>>>>> :pimp: :) :punk:

As im now adding two more strains to the grow now, as two have turned out to be MALES...:icon_confused: :evil4: :stop: lol

So..... I now have 2 K2 clones up n rooting, and another Pot of Gold rooting too as we type this.

So far all looks Great, but ya never know with clones sometimes, i did have(or should i say..i do have still...) a BIG BANG clone STILL trying to root away, i may be misslead into thinking its still trying to root, when its alresdy rooted, IMO, I'm NOT sure at all though, "Ohhhh Time will tell....."

"Ya tink yar in heaven , but ya livin in hell"........(Sometimes, when all the MALES come up!!!....lol)

Anyway, here are some picture updates of how they are all going, including my Unsexed, MAROC#1 x AFGAANI#6....

HPictures to stil be uploaded as there is a problem so its telling me with the server for UPLOADING my pictures for ya all to bare witness too, DAmnnnnn.....:5masked:

Peace Out for now then people,

UBB - as we previously discussed on 4 2 0 G, those are not true polyploids. Merely a variant in a single chromosome. A true polyploid will have 3,4,6 etc, chains in the helix. Have you mapped the dna to prove polyploidy? Probably not since 99.99% of us don't have access to an electron microscope.

So with that said, you have a baby (hopefully it's a girl for you man!) that has a genetic mutation, or variant in a single chromosome.

The grow looks great too man. Will be checking in to see how that White Lady looks. I personally wouldn't buy a litre of water from Gypsy if my ass was on fire, but it will be interesting to see how those turn out. I am a big sativa fan, so thread marked!

Cheers and good growing to you.

    Ok Usless my friend!

These are all just examples of what people should look out for when talking POLYPLOIDISM, this is NOT a GENETICALLY produced POLYPOLIOD at all, I did get one from being it braught back from South Africa,(which ive stated in many many threads/Posts NOW!!!)

But what im meaning, or saying is that , these are the signs to look out for when POLYPLOIDISM CAN /Is happening to your pant and your wondering WTF??? And wy it's got all these different leaves and MORE TRUE BRANCHES!!!

JUST EXAMPLES my friend, nothing more or nothing less!!!

But i did, I repeat, I did have a POLYPLOID(A triploid and a Tetraploid in 2 seeds, i shit ya not...believe the ODDS if ya want, lmao, but "Truthfully" I guess it was a case of my LUCK back then, then...

My friend, you know i know you know, that i know...(lmao) what one is, and what they all look like, and what they all can do when ya get the LUCK too come across 1, or 2 in MY case, when i did have em....

Alll grown up and smoked up!!!...lol)

    As one does.....:punk:

My Triploid had 3 true branches leading to 3 TRUE TOP colas in the one plant , without any LSTing and all that, anyway, im getting bored talking about this now, fuck it, it was just so people could get an understanding of the POLYPLOIDISM of a plant in general, just some examples , thats it my friend...Nothing more...lol...ok....lol

    Peace Ussless,

Let it be, let it beeeee, let it beeeeeee, let it beeeeeee,

Mother nature came to me, let it beeeeeee eee eeeeeeee,

Great Topic For A Thread Imho......

UBB i think it is important to stress that Useless is merely opening the topic up for further discussion as opposed to saying you dont know what your talking about. Now this could be a subject we ALL talk and learn on further in the ADVANCED forum if any of you want to start a thread,it is an interesting subject and i know the link i got via useless was very informative and got me doing a little more research..but hey i aint no botanist, shit i was hardly at school when we did subjects like that(i always thought id never need the knowleged just like french classes, lol, little did i know eh?) but as a hemp cultivator then iv got an interest.

The hemp plant is one a kind almost, its almost an alien plant compared to the rest of the plant kingdom and hermies are an example of one of hemps many 'weird' anomolyes. This tetraploid and polypoid discussion is very interesting,id like to see it discussed in depth in the advanced forum, maybe even a sticky thread about hemp botany(might even make the GK FAQS?).... only thing is though apart from skunky ,useles and a few others i dont know that many ppl with as much knowledge on this subject, lol,so we would need their participation kinda thing.

:idea:Even you UBB or Useless or skunky, etc could write an in depth thread and submit it into the member submissions part of the forum where it will then be read and voted on by all the members whether it is a thread worthy of entering the FAQS,but i see it as a very interesting subject for beginnners and ppl like me who have grown for proper time now but am still not any more knowledgebale on things like polypoidism, etc. This is and would make a great topic for DISCUSSSION in advanced.Good to see a topic on the boards that isnt usually spoken much about.Peace guys:ebert::smokin:

T.A. - Im going to copy and paste the post I did on 420 over here in the advanced section. We can continue this discussion there.

UBB - If the plant grows past its first true leaf set and all subsequent branches appear with tri-foliate or tetra-foliate leaf structure, then I'd say you might have a polyploid. In other words, it would have to grow all leaf sets with the same 3 or 4 leaf pattern through out the life of the plant. Otherwise, its a diploid with a variant in a single chromosome. Even then, genetically speaking, it would require an electron microscope to identify the number of chains in the helix. I know you get what I am saying bro. ;)

I do know that a few of the chromosomes in cannabis have been identified, I'll see what I can on those.

Otherwise, break out the electron microscope, and lets find out for sure! :)

I actually am rooting for you UBB, I do hope it is a poly. It would be great to see a poly grown next to a diploid. All I was and have said, is that tri-foliate or tetra foliate leaf patterns does NOT mean it is a poly. That's all dude. Take a toke, and enjoy the discussion on a very interesting topic.

    All good bro.... all good!!!

It's all good bro, totally all good..... :)

I definately get ya man, and i do understand what you were trying to say too. :) NOW anyway, lol.

I'm just putting a few pics up of what one would look like, if it was to pop and one was to NOT know WTF was gong on with the LOOK of a plant, (Ya still with me here?lol) that cold well be thrown out or whatever,(NOT knowing to the grower!) iff one might think its a RUNT or a plain old FUCK up seed or something like that!(ya get me?) :)

POLYPLOIDISM is a GREAT subject, and il assure you , that im no expert at all when it comes to TRUE BOTANY, but im very INTO it, to say the LEAST! :) :punk:

Ayway, the pics, as i said , were just for peep's to see what the hell a POLYPLOID can look like in its most common Shape's and Form's, ya get me bro?

It's al good and yea, this is very interesting, and the POLYPLOID, that i said i "had"(Emphisising), were just that, they had TURNED on me, and i had to rid of em.

But in this grow, ive another triploid lookalike, lmao, and im Hoping its another BIGGY....to be honest, ya ALWAYS got hope eh??? lmao

But the BAD thing on this TOPIC of polyploidism , is to the FACT its almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a FEMALE POLYPLOID ,lol, as percentage wise , is NOT good at all for the MALE to FEMALE ratio, as its wayyyyy in ahead toward the MALE side in a TETRAPLOID, But a Triploiod is VERY much different, as its genetics(A RIPLOID im talking here, ONLY) allow further and still somewhat of a so called "NORMAL" ratio(KINDA)at a higher rate of male to female RAtio, abviousely toward the FEMALE side.

Althougn its still very HARD to find ONE seed thats a TRUE POLY , nevermind getting a FEMALE one, lmao...hahaha

But anyway, iff one is LUCKY enough to find A "TRUE POLYPLOID" of some kind(whether it be a 3/4/6 or whatever ) and get a FEMALE, Well....... WoW, YOUR on to a PHENOMINALLY HUGE YEILDING plant,:punk: :) as that is the FACTOR in growing these ALMOSt strange seed's out to the end, Ya get a BIG PRESENT at the end of the grow, an ALMOST unbelievable GROW/CROP, of the BIGGEST yeilding size and weight!!!!!

So....heres to coming across some POLY'S in our time folks!!!..lol:) :punk:

    Here's HOPING anyway,lol,

Peace Out for now my friend and felow grower,

:pimp: UrBigBuddie............ :) :punk: :) :punk:

P.S, Its al good bro, all is good in the hood!!!

Gel 2 Root!!! And New Grow!!

*The GEl 2 Root is a GREAT thing in the way, that it keeps your lil cuttings "well" and "READY" for you and actually help it produce more green growth on the TOPS, so when you actually go to plant the cutting there is more Greenage/foliage on the TOPS for more power to be generated down to the rooting system.. :) (quite good that way TBH!):punk: It is GREAT for that, but I must admit that i've had ONLY lil Tiny Tiny roots come out from the Stem that sits inside the Gel2Root cups, and IMO, when ya TRANSPLANT em, well, put em into the medium being used, there all powered up and the lil GEL4PLUGS (rooting gel) ive got, does the REST in 5 days NO PROBLEMS at all i must add!!! :) So, IME (In My Experience) Its never actually showed GEAT root production/development, INSIDE the GEL2ROOT cups, though it did help keep them all healthy inside the cup's, for as long as i needed or wanted , till i had the room to place them into some medium and add em to my grow room, Which ive done now as im Typing this to ya!!!(Today) Ive two clones, a K2 which was in the Gel2Root for 3 weeks before i put it into the medium today, and it look like its been trying to produce the roots Bigger, but ya can ONLY see lil tiny see through ones as of yet, that will, IMO, ONLY get much larger QUICKY in this GEL4PLUGS rooting GEL , that ive always used to CLONE and ROOT them with(Usually from the start though), and with ease too i must add aswel.... for it REALLY!!! Good lil thingy to have around iff your running outta space and have some REALLY nice clones that ya dont wanna waste at all, as the GEL2ROOT will keep and preserve them all HEALTHY, untill planting them is wanted or can be done when there is enough room for them!!!:qbluewacko:  Anyway, Im going to add to this thread , that MY last batch of seeds were all males UNFORTUNATELY, BUT, I have PLENTY seeds to be playing about with, so here goes for the second time in a month...:eusa_shifty: :) Ive actually started these already, and it was about a week and a half ago i planted the POPPED seeds into their medium, as all i was waiting on, was the CLONES rooting before i put the seedlings under my HPS too!!! So bassically i got room for 4 Females at an extreme push, but none the less, il be ABLE and WILLING to grow all 4 or 3 iff im unlucky , inside my kinda actually smallish grow room that i have, and always have had!!! So heres hoping, and a few UPDATED/RECENT pictures of the progress made already from seed, and from the cuttings too... :) Hope ya all stay tuned to this as ive got females already that have rooted and im waiting out the others now, to see what of the other MAROC x AFGANNI and the WHITE LADY'S will come out like(Seeds from start, no clones on the MAROC x AFGANNI or WHITE LADY, all seeds from start, so need to watch out again for the Baddies..lol) So IM growing Bassically in a NUT SHELL..... WHITE LADY from sativaseedbank.nl, and MAROC x AFGANNI from NIRVANA, and "two" clones i got given to me from my bro in law, of POT of GOLD and a K2 aswel... *Here are some RECENT UPDATES actually taken from TODAY.....
