Actually it wasn't that bad. No smell what so ever. My fans and keeping it cool in the house dry that shit up fast. My girl caught it this time and it was leaking for about an hour or two, so most of it is already dry. I didn't get any mold or anything, but this won't happen again hopefully.

    The LV blows me nicely.

Someone with some sense! :goodjob: . Exactly what I did and the carpets dried out in a few days, this time the carpets are almost dry. No smells and no mold.

Mr Astro blows me slowly and tenderly. :icon_confused:

What do you mean by railings? And fuck no I don't look before crossing the street. I'm to manly for that shit. :danger: :kidding:

2nd time. The first time was bad, I left it run all the way through the night. This time it leaked for about an hour or two. The first time water came down through to the kitchen below, this time the carpets are almost dry and no liquid came through the ceiling.

Fuck, what do ya expect? I'm a fucking stoner!!!

I know it seems like everything is dry in a couple of days-but if mold is truly one of your concerns-and you feel any obligation to spend any money on equipment-get one of these moisture meters-http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100651810/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=moisture+meter&storeId=10051- they are $20.00.

Just take a reading from a known dry area (one where you haven't been dumping gallons of water)-and continue drying your wet area until you get the same read. Also check your drywall with it before you make any repairs to that-as it will continue to bubble the joint compound and paint until it is dry. Peace

Oooo I second that. Those things can detect The Smallest Water Molecules in drywall, and other surfaces. Thats what the water damage/Emergency clean up people use to prevent mold from spreading. I cant believe they are only $20... thats is el chepo. I mean you probably dont give a dam , about mold, cause you moving anyways right?

But OldResin got a good idea for water detecting/mold prevention idea. :thumbs-up:

Dixie was shown the door a little while before I signed up but Damn, she had her fare share troubles here & there, Great posts tho, everything from wishing she liked chicks to knocking a tray of plants off a second floor balcony was solid GK gold. hope she's still kickin' it somewhere.

I was just concerned about your security deposit as far as the drywall repair goes-the mold underneath the carpet will be hidden-as well as the mold in your ceiling-but the drywall repair will show if it isn't adequately dry before you make the repair.

Depending on how fast you intended to move-if you leave it alone for a month before you fix it-it should be good.

Running a little test on the Exodus Cheese since I'm running 4 of the same strain. I just flushed them since they get fed on Sunday, and they got their first dose of HST. The first one got topped and supercropped, second one just got topped, third one just got HST, and the 4th will just grow naturally. Was bored and I need to make my Kandy Kush bushy. I topped and supercropped the Kandy Kush as well.

That is a mentality I'll never understand. :icon_scratch:

Every house I've ever rented or owned, I left in better condition than when I moved in. Usually I'm calling the landlord asking them if I can fix some already fucked up stuff because it's bothering me.

I just moved into a rental and in about a month I have already installed a new cooktop that was here, cleaned up the landscaping, repaired some roof damage, evicted some attic squirrels, replaced three bad outlets, patched some minor wall holes, repaired a couple leaking faucets, serviced the air conditioners and pool equipment, and made several fence repairs. Nothing serious. Just minor stuff that has been neglected.
