I had a chance to snap a pic with the HPS off today. Heres how they look right now. I moved the plant on the right side to the center because it looks the most promising.

Its already easier not having to maintain the plants within 2" of the bulbs. But ask me again in about 6 weeks and Ill give you a better answer :roffl: Im excited to see what I yield doing a full grow under HPS.

Sweeeet! Good looking plants. :thumbs-up: I dance a nanner dance for you! :nanner-2:

For some reason i thought I remember you saying you weren't gonna be growing for a while. Glad to see you back in action! That HPS will do you right!:thumbs-up: Much better bud development under that puppy than the CFLs not knocking your CFL grow at all, those CFL buds were nice looking too so you should rock it with that HPS!

Looks good V. Can't wait to see what your new setup does for you.

I am disappointed though cuz I see a spec of soil on the floor of your once spotless grow lab. :roffl:

Thanks for the comments everyone! Rollin, sorry to disappoint man :roffl:

Well Ive made the first leg of my trip and arrived at my destination. IF I make it back to Maine Im never leaving again. The traffic is just absolutely fucking ridiculous! The trip went pretty good with the exception of slight overheating in the traffic in the bronx due to an accident..... Yeah good times, NOT!

Ive only got a crap laptop to use right but Ill share some pics when I return home IF I make it. Never again.... I like the lack of cars and assholes on the road in Maine. I think Im heading back Sunday, wish me luck! Peace

My family is from Maine and I can relate to your lack of excitement about traffic and metro areas. ;)

Good luck and safe travels back home. ;) :ebert:

W00t, made it home in one piece. The car just barely.... It will be retired for a while until I make some repairs.

Anyway, the plants survived me being away AND the HTG ballast and bulb that ran for 6 days with NO supervision didnt burn the house down. So I am happy for that. Ill try to get some pics up later today to show you how they all look.

Well Im pretty bummed to find out about a pest that Ive got. I knew something was up because of the spots on the leaves but didnt know what since Ive never had a pest before. I assume spider mites but I dont know for sure. They are tiny little fuckers moving around on the leaves.

I havent confirmed them on the flowering ladies but I am sure they are everywhere......

What I do know is that its a battle I cannot win with the conditions I have to work with so I will just see how it plays out. If the results of this grow arent good then I will be done growing indoors again.

Its a damp basement, which causes enough problems..... Ive already encountered mold on the clones in the humidity dome.... Plus there is firewood and damp bark and shit on the floor with the firewood.... Like I said, its a battle I cannot win so I will just see what happens......

Anywho, here is a pic of the plants in week 2 and a 4 days I think of flower. Its kind of hard to see the budsites with the HPS on but there are lots of them.

V- You need to get that firewood storage away from your grow area. It's a haven for all kinds of pests. Even if you eradicate the critters from the grow they have a safe comfy place to hide and keep coming back.

Can you get a pic of what's bugging your plants?

teamster6 - I have no idea what they are to be honest. I didnt spend much time checking them out, just saw the fuckers moving. Ill look at pics later and try to determine what they are.

ResinRubber - Dude theres nothing I can do about the situation, thats why I said more than once its a battle I cant win.... Its not my house and they burn wood, nothing I can do about it. I checked pretty good and couldnt see them on the flowering ladies but they are on my 4 plants in veg...

My only option to deal with it would be serious filtering...which IS possible...I have no doubt I could keep them out of the flower box but Ive got no control over veg at the moment since its not being done in a box....but depending on what happens with this grow, if I choose to continue I will make a veg box and can filter that too.

Im sure your thinking even with filtering they will get in, but I honestly think I could keep them out if wanted to. Im just to the point where I ask myself, is this BS even worth it? I have to travel to take care of the plants. Just alot of work for what tiny bit I smoke, but it does save money considering how much the old lady smokes...lol

I dont know...Im pretty much to the point where I honestly just dont care at this point. But ill keep fighting and see what the results are right now. If Im not satisfied with the harvest vs amount of work it takes Ill just say fuck indoors and grow outside.

Anywho, here is a pic with the HPS off to brighten my sob story up :thumbs-up:

After looking at some pics, im pretty sure they are spider mites but I will get a closer look at the little buggers tomorrow... Although the pics in this thread shows that the damage whatever they are, are causing looks like the damage thrips cause. I dont know if spider mites do the same kind of damage or not.

Like I said, I didnt take a close look, just saw the fuckers moving and saw the leaf damage.

    I'm gonna guess 7.1428571428571428571428571428571 ounces.

If you can't get the wood out at least stick a few no pest strips in the room and buy a cheap dehumidifier to keep the moisture down around the woodpile.

    good luck V

I could live with that number Resin! Only time will tell. Im just going to let things ride and see what happens.

I had some spider mites on my smaller plants that were in veg, I moved them outdoors and the mites are GONE. So Ive been bringing the ladies outdoors during the day hoping it will help with the flowering girls. At this point Ive got nothing to lose....

Anywho, here are a couple pics...
