    Holy Thread Resurrection Batman!

Those that are still around when I was active on here saw that I had a few successful grows in my CFL box. They may also remember that my luck basically went to shit after that. I guess I just got lucky that I had no real issues in my first couple grows, because I failed the following 3-4 grows.

Well I never gave up. Life circumstances did prevent me from growing for a while, but I kept all my gear and just waited until the time was right. That time is now. I got a couple sickly 2" sickly clones given to me, as well as a "mother" that had almost no green leaves on it. Ive spent the last three weeks nursing them back to health. This is where I am now....

They arent 100% yet but they are so much better off now. They had spider mites when I got them, I have hit them with Azamax several times and have since seen no mites.

I wish I had before pictures so you all could see how bad off they really were. The "mother" still looks pretty pathetic. I intend to flower that plant out and start a new mother. I will be ordering an Aero cloner in two weeks, hopefully that will help with my past failures in cloning.

Anywho, feel free to follow along and watch my failures/successes as I hope to better my skills in the art of cultivating the finest medicine I can grow. :smokin:

    Peace Out. -V420

:-welcome-: back! The plants are looking like you've been treating them right. You'll love your aerocloner. I recently started using an EZ Clone Machine and it is by far the best and easiest way to clone. I get 100% success rate with roots by 7 days and mad, crazy roots in 14 days.

What strain you working with? :passsit:

    Aerocloner

Thanks for the comments guys. I have ordered my Clone King 36 and some rootech gel. It will be here sometime next week I hope. Once it arrives Im going to clone my outdoor plants. I cant wait to see how this bad boy works!

Good to see you back, Virago.

My aero cloner works great. I get close to 100% success without any cloning gel or anything, just pop the cuttings into a rockwool cube and into the basket. I change the water out once a week or so to keep things fresh and have a small cfl above it.

I have mine in a little shelved clone/seedling tent and in the summer it gets hot. In the winter with 75 degree temps, it takes about 7-10 days to get roots. In the summer, with 85-90 degrees, it takes 2-3 weeks. Cooler water definitely works better.

    Happy cloning.

Thanks Hank, glad to be back. Yeah I cant wait to try cloning with it. Im getting impatient and want to switch to flower already. I think the plants need another week or two of veg though. Ugh, I suck in the patience department but I want a decent harvest so I need to take my time with this one.

The temp in the box I plan to clone in is only 66F. You guys think this will cause me any problems? There will be an additional bulb burning in there when I put the cloner in though. That might bring the temp up a degree but I kinda doubt it.

Cloner has arrived and Ive got it fired up and running with its first batch of 22 clones. The plant on the left is a mother of the clones I have in the flower box that went 12/12 on Monday. I cant wait to see how many of these bad boys root. If they all do I have no idea what I will do with all the plants haha.

I put a thermometer in the water so I can monitor temps. Temp in the box at the floor is 70F. I will use frozen water bottles if need be. I dont anticipate problems however.

I got 100% success rate in my cloner even in 90 degree temps. The water was warm but the plants didn't seem to care. They rooted anyway (a couple days slower than with cool water) and grew huge long white healthy roots. I use Clonex liquid cloning solution in my cloner and I am loving it. Plain water works too but the Clonex gets them growing full blast as soon as they have roots showing. I have full on plants if I leave them for 21 days in my cloner! I've also used The Useless Formula week 1 veg cut down to 1/4 strength with good results but this Clonex solution has really blown up my clones. You're gonna love it! :thumbs-up: I dunno if yours came with an air pump and air stones but I run some in mine and I think it helps especially when temps get high. The clones in the pics were big but the ones I just planted had even longer thicker roots than that. It's crazy! :passsit:

Awesome results Ras. I just checked water temp after cloner running for 24hrs. Air temp 70, water temp 75. Good. I will continue to monitor over next few days and will cool water with frozen water bottles if necessary but I dont anticipate an issue.

Clones have not rooted. Water temp is still 75. They have yellowed alot. I hope they root soon or they might be a loss. I dont get it! :wtf?:

So far a complete failure! Its been 14 days. Some are still green but no roots. They do have bumps like they are going to soon. I dont get it. Water temp is 75. I used no rooting hormone. Temps too high? Too low? Shoulda used hormone? Figures I can fuck up the simplest cloning method heh

RW, nice and easy and it spits out roots in the same amount of time as any cloner
