Wheres your user name come from?

Back in 08 I was working in the auto industry making a DAMN nice living. When GM tanked, so did my job. Got laid off and couldnt find SHIT for work, and ended up living on unemployment for over a year.


During that time, I had pretty much stopped smoking as not being able to afford to smoke decent bud. I had a friend that had been a grower for a while, and he got me started, the rest is history from there!


I havent grown in a while now due to the craziness of my life, but now that things have settled down and a good friend will be gifting me some AMAZING cuts, I cant wait to get back into the garden!

 

There are so many things that are "pittsburgh" only its insane, we live in our own little world, there isnt a person from anywhere that can navigate our roads or language, in and around a 75mile radius is another planet of pure love for our hometown and like Steel said, we're all family no matter where you are.....when my uncle died (he was a trucker) i found a notebook of all the bars around the country that were "steeler" bars and always welcomed a "Pittsburgher" with open arms like it was home.......I still keep it and always route thru it whenever i leave home just to know where i can get love like at home

Well, I think the green thumb is fairly self explanatory. I'm not the best gardener in the world, but I enjoy a good challenge, and often seek them out. I try to grow things that aren't supposed to be grown in a particular environment. eg, I had a navel orange tree in my house in Idaho, actually flourishing pretty well. It wasn't until I tried to drag it to NY that I killed it. (well, 16 degrees overnight in a moving van killed it...) I still have pipe dreams of a sunroom/solarium with a fucking banana tree that I can pluck a fresh one off of in the middle of january.


White thumb is because I'm a baker. A pretty damn good one at that. I started my own biz in Idaho, and surprisingly did quite well. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get all my shit to NY and take over here. ( I think someone mentioned once about me being a cokehead?... nope, that's not it!)

I originally had a diff username and it was part of my last name, also the nickname alot of my friends call me....so being the paranoid stoner I am I decided to change it. I couldnt really think of anything until one night I was watching a new episode of southpark, the one that starts out with towelie always being too high and unable to hold a job, so he decides to write his memoirs. He types out his name Towelie and adds a couple e's...towelieee. That shit had me fuckin laughing so hard I had to change it.

 

Looking at bud shots when I decided to grow again , I kept saying to myself "I want to grow some big buds too". So i threw the Z in just to change it up a bit and there you go.

Im sorry AP but when you get rowdy in soccer, you get a little yellow piece of paper thrown up at you, then some nerd comes running in and cries like a baby about the little yellow card or god forbid a RED card....OOOOOOOOh not the RED CARD, NOOOOOOOO!!!! :rofl6: jus bustin ballz.......but seriously, we want the opportunity for possible death in our sports or atleast major blood loss

 

When I was in college I worked at Blockbuster Video for a few years. One day I walked in to work and this kid I worked with said "ScottyG in the house!". That was the first time anybody called me "ScottyG". But once other people heard people calling me that, they just kinda started saying it too. I just added the "420" to be funny, cuz at the time, I didn't know many people who knew anything about 420, so it was like an inside joke between me and whomever recognized it.

 

I wanted to pick the most unique username I could possibly think of, then I got high.


(also I was "Cannabliss" on Overgrow, may it rest in peace, and people thought I was a dude)


I joined I think the day after it got shut down.

 

As a kid I watched the Captain Kangaroo show for kids. there was a friendly farmer on there called Mrgreenjeans who grew things. Plus I grew up on a farm so that is how I came up with my Screen name. asssit: opcorn-2:

When I was about 4 or 5, I portrayed MMQC in a community parade. Seemed an appropriate name to use here. :thumbsup:

Wow, sweet vid, man. I got into soccer a bit after living here in Japan. The World Cup is a major event every 4 years. Seen three here now, but the hours are all screwy, so there is big game parties at the sports bar starting at like 5:00 am. Ha ha. Yeah, I love to watch soccer. Can't get myself to call it football, though.


The guy in that vid was a good dribbler, and strong and fast. Nice skills, definitely.

Yeah, I remember him doing ok over there. This guy just beat Nakamura's record for goals by a Japanese player on a division 1 European team.


He's playing for Borussia Dortmund. 20 goals in 42 appearances in [edit] two seasons, which isn't bad, I guess.
