    If you traveled 75 miles in different direction from my home town you'd end up in 3 different countries, never mind the endless number of different areas that are totally different and fiercely protective of their own town.

    Ducrider came from my love of the Ducati brand of motorcycles. Over the past 30 some years of riding various brands of motorcycles I've always drooled those hand crafted Italian works of art know as Ducs. Of all the different bikes I've owned over the years, the Ducati's were the only ones that I would just sit in the garage and stare at after a long days ride. It's their sheer machanical beauty that makes these bikes feel like they almost have a soul. DesmoHead would also have been a fitting handle but Ducrider just fits.


    My current stable consists of two motorcyles from opposite ends of the motorcyle spectrum. On one end there's my very sexy and violently powerful Monster S4RS and on the other end is an old 1984 BMW R100RS. In the car world that would be like owning a Ferarri 458 & an old VW bug that isn't very fast but never lets you down.


    OR


    I just like to ride the Ducky ride at the county fair.

Any of you guys seen Jersey Shore over there,well here in the UK we got Geordie Shore which is even more entertaining:thumbsup: Geordieland is a decent place,iv been and I'll go back,Geordies to me are more quirky like us Jocks than they are like the rest of England(aka southern poofs:wink:)

    SKUZZI you do realize it takes 6-8 hours @ 75MPH/120kph to go from one end of Pennsylvania to the other right? Then you're just in another state.s Man I couldn't imagine being able to get 100 miles outside a city out in the boondocks beer quads fire and moonshine fuck mayne that sucks...


    It's funny that in pittsburgh people will give you directions by how long it takes to get there not in miles. They will also give landmarks of things that aren't there anymore. Go down to the stop light past where Kuhn's Market used to be then make a left.


    I work with a girl from london she's only been here for 2 years. She says the things that amazed her here were that even though Heinz is made in Pittsburgh we only eat the ketchup and mustard no soups in fact it's the only place I know where to find Heinz soup is in the international section of the market. She didn't expect it to be this old? I dunno why not Steeltown was built during the industrial revolution with the steel industry and as a coal hub. She also laughed that we have parks that are the size of counties back home. We also talk a lot about beer since there are so many craft brews here but you guys have all the euro beers at your disposal no customs or alcohol tobacco and firearms to deal with.


    You should cross the pond stay with fellow GKr's across the country. I have been thinking of broader destinations in the future UK might be in the mix get a multipass and ride the train around Europe. If I could only leave my plants for more than 10 days...Steelcity
