yep, there is one in Wyoming called Humphrey's...same menu and deco, just different name :qbluewacko: Oh yeah, never ever get their onion log... it has to be the most discusting and humongous blob of grease ever to be concocted...impossible to finish, let alone digest :5headache:
! HA! :qbluewacko: You tell me, Bud...he's pushing 250....but he's a big guy anyway....:love4: I'll be sure to remind him, though...lol! Kron...looks yummy....what's for dessert?LOL! Link...what the heck is this onion log thing...gawd, that sounds awful, like head cheese or something...but ya never know, I guess...someone probably thinks it's good....lol, I think it's interesting to see what people like to eat where they're from.... things that we find disgusting are delicacies elsewhere...same for some of the crap we eat, like:XXspam: lol!
oh yeah, i guess there are many other sanford's across the country aswell its basically a gigantic mound of deep fat fried onions....its ridiculously huge and literally dripping grease. And yeah, its fucking awfull :5headache: the worst thing I've ever ordered
Blech..! Heartburn already! Sounds like you probably won't be ordering it again...lol..sounds like this place we went once. We stopped at this little dive in Idaho Springs and I don't remember the name...something "mine"...trains all over the place......stupid memory problems...But I ordered chili, and I'm telling you, if anyone could mess up chili, this place had the prize...lol! I wouldn't even have fed it to the dog...:icon_confused: Oh, man, though...there is a mexican place on the Front Range that is totally THE BEST EVER! The green chili is to die for!!!!!! :love4: :love4: "Alberto's"....mmmmmmm....we've had to make a couple really long road trips just to swing through and eat there....dang, if I mention it to hubby, we'll HAVE to go...maybe swing by Baskin Robbins on the way!
While smoking only chicken quesadilla from Taco Bell. When drinking and smoking Pirmanti Bros capicola and cheese with everything on it which is homemade slaw and fries on the sandwich Mancini's thick cut italian bread. If ever in the Steel City they are everywhere stop by and grab a pint of yuengling and get your grub on!
What is that? SCS...may I ask exactly what that is....by being in a pint, I'm assuming ice cream or beer?..??....Both ok on my list...lol! I got a mad craving today for cake....again...lol...sorry it's all sloppy, lol, I was hungry and trying to hurry so I could eat some....:icon_confused: Hey, but at least I did have dinner first....
Yuengling is brewed here in PA across the state in Pottstown. It's a Lager but isn't heavy. It costs 18.99 for 24 bottles and is the best beer at that price<--up for debate in another thread. It is only available in Pa NY and FLA to my knowledge. It washes down a Cap & cheese like non other!
Spaghetti and meatballs Looks like we have a few cooks among us............now that I am laid-off for the season (from my const. job) I am able to do more cooking around here. Makes Mrs.D. happy, and BTW she is a great cook!....(nothing like the real Mrs.Douglas) :5eek: Coming home from snow-plowing the other day, I needed to have something warm and hearty in my gullet. So I made a satisfying spaghetti sauce. (I'm 1/2 Italian) My sauce is simple: meat, tomatoes, cheese, and spices. Browning the meatballs and sausage adding tomatoes, cheese, and spices add sausage and simmer an hour or two I was going to boil some ravioli, (yeah, frozen, it's so much easier than home-made), but instead opted to serve it up on some freshly made garlic bread. Needless to say, I pigged out, smoked a few bongs, and then passed out. Hope you enjoyed the pics as much as I enjoyed cooking and eating it!
It's good to see another Steeler around ... and Yuengling is definitely good shit. I like Porter but Lord Chetsi is what I usually drink at the bar.
Looks delicious! Mr. Douglas...I have to go to the store tomorrow....lol! That looks tasty! That toasted bread is the magic touch, never thought of doing it that way, I bet it soaks up all that yummy sauce! :love4: Funny, I'm 3/4 german and 1/4 swedish....I bet that would account for my chocolate and candy fetish...lol! I had a slight problem today, got a little tummyache...lol, I wouldn't know why.:laughing5: I was making jellies, and a few of them called for maraschino cherries...... :icon_confused: Have you ever craved Maraschino cherries...? JUST SAY NO! LOL,....I ate a few too many, I guess...:laughing5: Or it could have been the divinity.... It's like vanilla taffy with peanuts...if you've ever had a Big Hunk...that's pretty much the same thing. But I was craving the cherries....back in a former life, I was a waitress, and we had this cookies and cream pie, and it had Maraschino cherries on it. There was always abig jar of them in the walk-in cooler, and we would always scoop a coffee cup full, and snack on them all day while we worked! Yummy! (in moderation!) Thanks for dinner, Mr. D.! It looked wonderful!

There's always a cake or some cookies, but the candy and jams are for Christmas, and it keeps me busy during a really boring time of year! :scream: I was thinking that yesterday,.....I should find a nice food appreciation website .....lol. I'm lucky, I can eat this kind of stuff, and I'm always active, so it never sticks with me....but it IS the munchies that usually start it...I can't help it...I LOVE:love4: food...mainly sugar, lol, but I just love good home-cooked food! And some of my best memories are of my mom & I spending hours in the kitchen making candy and cookies, so I want that to be something that my daughter and I share. Sappy sap.....Yep, it's the munchies....lol! Juniorman....Bacon wrapped tenderloin is one of our favorites! Bacon wrapped aroud pork...what could be better! Bacon is just soooooo good! Worcester Sauce!!! Recently iv had munchie cravings for 'worcester sauce':eusa_drooldo you get that in the states?).. i have it with everything.. i put it on my toast and cheese or on a baked potatoe with cheese and a sprinkling of garlic... lea and perrins worcester sauce is quality, they also have now made a table sauce cos the original sauce is too thin and runny like soya suace to be able to use it on some foods,i tell ya what that picture above of the bacon wrapped pork joint with garlic would taste even better with some healthy sprinklings of lea and perrins worcester suace... i love this shit,i even munch my way through packets of worcester sauce crisps( or chips as y'all call them) regulalrly,lol1 As for 'a la carte' cuisine, well my stepd dad(#2) is a head chef at a facility which is a disuesed prison that is now used for holding illgeal immegrnts who are awaiting deportation and considered either dangerous, terrorist or a simple flight risk so they are detained in a high security castle that used to be a prison until recently.Anyway cos he cooks for all sorts of ethnic groups he has to know how to cook a whole vast variety of foods and hes been experimenting a lot recently.Mexican,Indian,Chinese,Persian(BTW iranaian food is surprisingly nice!),Oriental,Europena and African dishes, hell he even cooks good old american food aswell,so i get to try a whole host of flavours and spices from around the world, you cant beat jamacian food, its the spices that do it for me,same with some nigerian dishes,iv got a strange pallet cos i dont like a lot of traditional UK food but i love exotic foods. Im not a bad cook myself actually and when i have time i like to rustle up a fe delights in the kitchen:icon_wink:Now im hungry,im going to see whats in the pantry,lol!Cheers:eusa_drool:
